Fisher Middle-High School is honored to have two working artists teaching in the Visual Arts program. In high school, Vanessa Favaloro, a graphics artist, teaches Talented Art I-IV, visual arts, and fine arts classes. Students work with various media, including clay, charcoal, watercolors, paper mache, and oils. Their two and three-dimensional art is displayed in front of the office, and at various art shows.
In middle school, there is a “pull out” program. While students do not receive Carnegie units in middle school for art, they participate in area art shows, and receive intensive instruction in both two and three-dimensional art, such as paper mache, still life, charcoals, pastels, and clay.
